The design is inspired by the architecture of Arg of Karim Khan. The Arg of Karim Khan’ or Karim Khan Citadel is a citadel located in downtown Shiraz, Iran. It was built as part of a complex during the Zand dynasty. It is named after Karim Khan and served as his living quarters. It is rectangular in shape and resembles a medieval fortress.

I was amazed by the craftsmanship of the Persian backgammon board I ordered. The intricate flower and chicken design is even more beautiful in person. My recent purchase from Persis was a great experience. The items arrived exactly as they had been advertised and much faster than I had expected. Despite a relatively pricy delivery cost, it worked out much cheaper than getting equivalent items in Australia. I will definitely consider Persis for my next purchase.
