A samovar (also known as Samavar, سماور) is a heated metal container traditionally used to heat and boil water in Russia and across the Middle East.  Since the heated water is typically used to make tea, many samovars have a ring-shaped attachment around the chimney to hold and heat a teapot filled with tea concentrate. Though traditionally heated with coal or charcoal, many newer samovars use electricity to heat water in a manner similar to an electric water boiler. Antique samovars are often prized for their beautiful workmanship.

SAMOVAR SET

A small coal samovar is a traditional Russian teapot that is used to heat and serve tea. Samovars are typically made of metal, such as brass or copper, and they have a spout for pouring the tea and a spigot for dispensing the hot water. The name “samovar” is derived from the Russian words “samo,” meaning “self,” and “varit,” meaning “to boil,” as the samovar is designed to keep the water hot for an extended period of time.

Small coal samovars are typically smaller in size than traditional samovars, making them more suitable for use in smaller spaces or for serving fewer people. They may be fueled by small pieces of coal or wood, which are placed in a small chamber at the base of the samovar. The heat from the burning fuel is used to heat the water in the samovar, which can then be used to make tea.

Small coal samovars are a traditional and stylish way to serve tea, and they can add a touch of culture and history to any home or gathering.
