NOWRUZ EGGS
Nowruz is the traditional Persian New Year, which is celebrated on the first day of spring. One of the traditions of Nowruz is decorating eggs, which are called “Nowruz eggs” or “Haft-Seen eggs.” These eggs are usually hard-boiled and painted with bright colors, and they are often used as part of the Haft-Seen table setting, which is a special arrangement of items that symbolize different aspects of life and the natural world. The eggs represent fertility and the renewal of life, and they are typically placed on the Haft-Seen table along with other items such as garlic (to represent health), coins (to represent wealth), and wheat sprouts (to represent new beginnings).
The Farvahar (Persian: فروهر), also known as the foruhar/faravahar is one of the best-known symbols of Zoroastrianism, an Iranian religion.
