Beautiful Persian engraved Ghalam-zani Copper candy bowl delicately hand-engraved by our artist based in Isfahan. Engraving (Ghalam-zani) is a term, for artistic metalworking, it is one of the original Persian handicraft, the art of engraving and embossing, hammering, repousse and chasing elaborate designs, patterns and shapes on metals such as copper, silver, gold, and brass to form minute detailed reliefs or small engraved patterns. Art engraving has a long history in Iran back to more than several thousand years ago.
